Community Assistance Project
Mission:
The Community Assistance Project aims to create an easy, accommodating, and loud voice for those within the community to both ask for help and give input as to how the scene can be a safe space and empower local artists, musicians, and healers to be present in the community, to be a part of the events, businesses, and public spaces Whysound inhabits and partners with. Through identifying the skills community members have and making connections to those looking to foster specified skills, the Community Assistance Project will provide an alternative path to obtaining recognition and growth. If anyone within the community needs or wants to give advice the Community Assistance Project will be a source and follow a regulated procedure to connect community members to each other with phone calls, workshops, and other means of communication where the direction can be provided. Through feedback and practice the Community Assistance Project will apply all useful improvements and continue growth in individuals and the community as a whole.
