  • Dan Fields / / Owner, Studio Manager, Lead Engineer

    Dan Fields has been performing and studying music for over two decades. He has a degree in music from Utah State University and is currently studying Indian classical music at the Pandit Shivnath Mishra Music Academy. He has been studio manager and lead engineer at Whysound for over five years.

  • Mowgli / / Owner, Talent Buyer, Session Producer

    Mowgli is 24 years old and has 15 years of live performance, diy and professional touring experience. In addition, he has been a co-owner of Whysound for 6 years. He has performed live shows with upwards of 35 bands, and contributed to several studio albums. At Whysound his role has been focused on general curation and event production. His goal is to facilitate a positive inclusive space for musicians to work together and push each other to strive for excellence in their craft. The hope being, to raise the level of connection and understanding of one another in our community as we decorate all this time together (:

  • Jace Allen / / Board Member, CAP Manager, Talent buyer

    Jace Allen has been working in human services for the last decade focusing on quality of life, communication, and promotion of independence. He has made impactful changes to the approach of treatment and services for adults with disabilities, refugees, and people suffering from substance abuse disorders. With his ability to create connections Jace has used music, art, and love of service to engage communities and bring people from different countries and bases of life together. Jace currently runs a cultural music group for Afghan men separated from their family by war and the collapse of government, playing traditional Afghani instruments and songs taught to him by the Afghan community. Jace has been involved in the Cache Valley art and music scene and with a passion for these communities is leading an assistance project for the local artists, musicians, and healers to create meaningful connections and provide a space to obtain progress in goals creative, personal, or professional.

  • Wade Evans / / Board Member, Talent buyer

    Wade Evans is a lifelong musician with a history of playing and attending shows at Whysound reaching back to the earliest days of the venue. Having spent time in 40+ countries and having lived in all the west coast states, he has a deep love for Cache Valley, and values healthy, harmonious relations with his community.

  • Eric LaMalfa / / Maintenance Manager, Talent Buyer

    Eric rocks USU as Associate Professor of natural resources management by day, and rocks local music venues as a legendary campfire musician by night. Born in Wisconsin and raised in SLC, he has a deep connection to the outdoors and shares that love through music. Eric has been writing and playing live local music for over 30 years. Wants to quit his day job to focus on community.

  • Tracen Bradshaw / / Board Member, Venue Manager, Talent buyer

    Tracen Bradshaw is a multi-instrumentalist based out of Logan, UT. He regularly performs and teaches lessons, and is always looking to make new friends/connections. Tracen has been a part of the Logan/Whysound community for over a decade, and is hoping to continue to bring his musical/social skills to the community in any way possible. Whether that means volunteering his time to work events, performing, or maintaining the space itself, Tracen is looking forward to putting his energy into Logan’s local art and culture.

  • Samantha Garbini / / Treasurer, Event Coordinator
